Blog Number 2: Glaceau (January 31st)

http://www.glaceauglobal.com/default/pages/global/global_landing.html?cookie=false

http://www.glaceau.com/

The wording on this was funny

As the page loaded you could see the bottles form out of ice

Every few seconds the bottles would do the wave

The site gave a brief description of the water cycle while simultaneously showing the animation for it

The loading bar changes colors along with the copy when the page is loading

The bottles would rotate out when clicked in a circular fashion

As a page loaded you would get this spinning instead of an hourglass

Blog Number Two: January 31st

I thought the way the hearts came out of the pipe and formed the type was an dynamic way to illustrate
While I'm not sure of what's going on language wise (since it's in German), I was still very much fascinated by the animation of the various buttons that I can select to go down the main pipe. Each button transports me to a new room where different objects are animated and when I'm ready to go back there is an arrow taking me to the home page.

As I'm waiting for the page to load a ladybug flies across screen

In this scene the button actually knocks over the buildings (thus interacting with its environment)

This is the main product they are advertising (appears randomly throughout the site in the different rooms)
This is hard to grab a screen shot of but the buttons race down the pipe to go to a room

Blog Number One: Got Milk (January 24th)

http://www.gotmilk.com/#/home/

As the main page is loading this screen appears (milk carton spins and unravels), creating an engaging visual as well as tying together the product of the site with its content

Home screen that shows all the different options you have to explore
(all of the animals move and take you to another page when clicked)

One of the games you can play (reinforces message that milk helps build strong hairs, skin, and nails).
The individual components move as well

And then there is a link for health information which uses the same character found in the game to display useful content about milk's benefits for overall health

Blog Number One: MarioKart (January 24)

http://www.mariokart.com/wii/launch/

As you discover each item used in the game they pop out at you and provide you
with a brief description of what they do
This lets you scroll over each item on the remote and learn about that specific feature (hover action)
As any page on the site loads you get a screen that resembles driving in a car (forward motion)
As each player loads they fly through space before centering themselves on screen

As you click the wheel button on the bottom of the screen, a semi circle forms detailing the various things you can do while on the website (alternative to looking at the tabs across the top of the screen) and one that is more dynamic
